School-Based STEAM Programs in partnership with DC Public   Schools

School-Based Afterschool STEAM Program

 

CHC operates an afterschool STEAM program in collaboration with DC public schools (DCPS). The program aims to help more children develop future science and technology skills, bridge the education gap, and increase access to quality education in line with the rapidly changing industrial structure. Notably, by providing free, high-quality STEAM education to K-5 students after school hours, the program fills the gap in teaching STEAM subjects during regular school hours. It also enhances students' learning engagement while fostering their interest in STEAM subjects.

 

Math Tutoring Program 

 

To address achievement gaps in math education, we implemented a math tutoring program for students at a DC public school. This program aimed to enhance core academic math skills among vulnerable children by providing math content, resources, and tutoring support during after-school hours.
